Meet little Miss D. I had so much fun photographing this little cutie’s 3 month baby photography session in our studio. I loved her sparkling eyes and cheeky beautiful smile. Thank you Emma for choosing me to photograph your little angel. I hope to see her back again in the studio for her next milestone.
Family photo sessions are great for all ages, occasions and times of the year. I love photographing those special moments of families being together. The Lyons family did just that to mark a special occasion. You see it was Tracy and her husband’s 30 year wedding anniversary, and their children gave this family photo portrait session as an anniversary gift. Despite being one of the coldest winter’s days in the Southern Highlands in history, the Lyons clan braved the bitterly cold conditions (and I mean bitterly cold it was 8 degrees with severe wind chill) but we all managed to get the job done while laughing, smiling, cracking a joke or two, cuddling and some times we were jogging on the spot to keep warm (as we all wished we were in the Bahamas or somewhere nice and warm than outside). Thanks for a lovely session. x DW.
Looking for a beautiful venue to get married? The Briars in Bowral is set on 15 acres of rural countryside and is a superb venue for a romantic country wedding. Set apart by tranquil gardens, rural surroundings and elegant atmosphere, this is the place where Marianne and Kyle celebrated their wedding reception.
You might have remembered a recent engagement session post of Marianne and Kyle at North Wollongong. Well today was their wedding day.
Here in the Southern Highlands, we were very lucky to experience one of the most gorgeous sunny and warm autumn day’s in a long time. The sun was out all day which was a pleasant delight.
Marianne and Kyle got ready at the Briars in Bowral among their dearest friends and parents. I love this venue for its beauty and versatility, so many beautiful back drops, a photographer’s dream.
Their ceremony was held at one of my favourite churches, St Francis Xavier Church in Berrima. I just love its history and the beautiful sandstone walls.
Their ceremony was unique and special to them, which involved Filipino traditions of the cord, veil and candle ceremony. Just beautiful and touching to see.
Location shots were taken in the township of Berrima, at the courthouse and surroundings before heading back to the Briars for their reception.
Thanks M&K for the many laughs were had with your fun bridal party. Enjoy the viewing. x DW
It was great seeing Jemma and Simon again but this time to take them out to the beautiful Morton National Park for their wedding e’session photo shoot. The weather on Saturday was quite cold to say the least (-1.C) but at least my prayers came true, I asked for clear blue sunny skies and it was delivered! Thank you.
As J&S’s wedding will be held at the Southern Highland Wines in November, Jemma wanted their e’session to take place in Bundanoon (where she grew up) and Morton National Park was the perfect place as she remembers going on many bush walks with her family.
Thanks J&S for putting up with the cold winter conditions. I am looking forward to photographing your wedding – we are going to have so much FUN. Plus the weather will definitely be much warmer! Enjoy the preview.
Kindest regards x Di
I love photographing babies. Isn’t she beautiful, those eyes – so happy and sparkling!
Thanks Finette and Anthony for allowing me into your home to photograph your daughter. We just need to get the whole family together for a family portrait… what do you say?
