Here are some gorgeous photographs of Rowan and Edwina with their two daughters. We did their family portrait shoot at Mansfield Reserve, East Bowral in the Southern Highlands. It was such a fun shoot, lots of smiles and laughter.
Mansfield Reserve is a great location with some beautiful gum trees and long grass. It is an ideal place as it is quite secluded. A perfect opportunity to have some fun with the family, go for a walk, soak up the beauty and peacefulness of this special place while all being captured on camera.
If you would like us to capture some beautiful family photos around the Bowral area please get in touch! We love doing outdoor photo shoots and capturing the smiles and fun of your family.
Family photo sessions are great for all ages, occasions and times of the year. I love photographing those special moments of families being together. The Lyons family did just that to mark a special occasion. You see it was Tracy and her husband’s 30 year wedding anniversary, and their children gave this family photo portrait session as an anniversary gift. Despite being one of the coldest winter’s days in the Southern Highlands in history, the Lyons clan braved the bitterly cold conditions (and I mean bitterly cold it was 8 degrees with severe wind chill) but we all managed to get the job done while laughing, smiling, cracking a joke or two, cuddling and some times we were jogging on the spot to keep warm (as we all wished we were in the Bahamas or somewhere nice and warm than outside). Thanks for a lovely session. x DW.
I was very fortunate to photograph an event at Wombat Hollow situated in Kangaloon in the Southern Highlands to mark Edith’s 90th birthday celebrations.
She is one remarkable highly regarded lady, loved and respected by all.
Even though I have known her very briefly via photographing previous social events for her family (The Yabsleys), she is genuine caring kind lady.
Many guests told me how remarkable and independent she is, caring and loving to all. How this family (and there are many generations and family members connected to Edith) – are together because of her. Her values, morals are respected by all.
This day was for Edith and from the below photographs you can tell that everyone had an amazingly fun day celebrating this remarkable lady’s achievements in her life. And I had a fantastic time capturing all special moments as they unfolded.
Thank you to Susie and Michael Yabsley and their children Alex and Edward and Pam and Cliff and their sons and of course Edith for welcoming me again to capture another family moment in their lives.

North Wollongong Beach on a hot summer’s day was the place to be for Marianne and Kyle’s beach e’session in preparation for their autumn wedding in the Southern Highlands.
It was a very hot day and we were very glad that we were near the water for this e’session photo shoot.
Marianne came prepared with props and helium balloons, even one got away :). She wanted to make their e’session memorable, comfortable reflecting who they are as a couple and what the area means to them as they spend a lot of time walking along the beach here.
Thanks for the many laughs and water fights.
Looking forward to capturing your wedding day in May at the Briars Country Lodge, Southern Highlands. xx DW
