Getting back into the swing of things after such a lovely festive season break, I caught up with Celia and Clint for their e’session in Joadja not far from Bowral, Southern Highlands. They are getting married on a friend’s property in March.
It was great spending time with them, wandering around this beautiful property which includes a vineyard and gorgeous bushland. The light among the trees is just beautiful!
I first met Celia and Clint some years ago when I took Celia’s family portrait and it was such an honour that they thought of me to photograph their upcoming wedding.
I cannot wait to capture their wedding story in March!
What a day! Despite the on and off rainy conditions, this didn’t dampen our spirits to have some fun at J&D’s Southern Highlands wedding. Many laughs were had, absolutely crazy fun bridal party and how can I forgot their entertaining fun and supportive friends. A day to remember! Thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day. xx
I love my job. This is what I love capturing those special funny moments shared between two people who love each other dearly.
Looking for a magical venue for your wedding? Look no further as the Centennial Vineyards Restaurant in Bowral, Southern Highlands is a beautiful venue to host your special wedding day’s reception.
Amanda and Leo did just that. They were married at St Jude’s Anglican Church in Bowral with their reception held at the notable Centennial Vineyards Restaurant.
I love the autumn colours which come out during this time in the Southern Highlands. The Centennial Vineyards wines are renown in the region and the venue hosts weddings all year round.
Amanda and Leo’s wedding was simply amazing. I was honoured to be part of their day and witnessing two lovely people, so in love, stating their vows and exchanging rings.
Amanda is just gorgeous, inside and out. Leo is a charming gentleman. Together they compliment each other so well and I felt like I had known them for years.
We had so much fun. I will never forget what an amazing day it was, capturing those special and funny moments which unfolded.
Thank you for trusting me to capture your special day. And I look forward to working with you both to design a truly gorgeous wedding album which retells your beautiful wedding story.
Venue: Centennial Vineyards Restaurant, Bowral – thank you to the wonderful staff, always attentive.
Flowers: Deborah of Botanic Art Wedding Florist.
I think most photographers would agree that Sylvan Glen is their favourite venue to photograph in the Southern Highlands.
Jolene Albert and Adam told me they only needed to look at one venue because they fell in love straight away and I can see why! I love this venue. Sylvan Glen is set on 60 acres situated in Penrose in the Southern Highlands of NSW. It has a beautiful guesthouse with so much history, lovely gardens and a function centre equipped for all types of weddings.
The owners and staff of Sylvan Glen are just wonderful, always attentive… no wonder they are always fully booked! I look forward to photographing another gorgeous wedding at Sylvan Glen in the very near future.
Jolene is one amazing person. She has a beautiful effervescent gregarious personality and watching her throughout the day you can see she is loved by all. Adam, a charming respectable young man and who is totally in love with his gorgeous wife.
The whole day went perfectly. It was such a big day for all.
Kat Middleton of About Face Sydney (mobile professional make up artist) and Paula Hibbard (hairdresser) did an amazing job attending to a very large bridal party which also included 4 flower girls and one page boy.
Flowers were from Flowers by Van Til and the delicious wedding cake was by Delaney’s in Wollongong.
The weather was just glorious and sunny. Their wedding ceremony was held at St Francis Xavier church in Berrima.
I had so much fun capturing their special day and as you can see from the photographs everyone had a memorable time.
Thank you Jolene and Adam for trusting me to capture your day – it was such an honour.
Sometimes I struggle to find the words to explain how grateful I am for the awesome people who trust me to capture the story of their amazing wedding day. Recently this was such a time.
I adore these two people. They met nine years ago through mutual friends and since that day they have been inseparable. They are generous, sweet, fun and talented and I am so honoured for their trust in me.
Their wedding day was SO much FUN. I laughed, smiled but most of all, my heart was happy all day long.
C&J decided on getting married in the Southern Highlands as they loved the lush green landscapes and wanted something different to what their home town of Wagga could offer.
They fell in love with the idea of having a family and friends getaway wedding weekend and when they first visited Sylvan Glen, they knew it was where they would get married.
They told me that the hosts of Sylvan Glen (Donna and Matt) were so helpful, accommodating to their needs (which I believe is really important). They also loved the idea that their guests could stay on site as well as enjoy a Friday night barbecue – a great chance for their guests to get to know each other before the wedding.
C&J’s wedding reception was beautifully decorated. Their wedding cake and personalised cookies were made by Heather “All Occasion Cakes” in Bowral.
The amazingly talented florist, Michelle from Affair with George did a magnificent job with the floral arrangements. Courtnee was so touched and delighted that the arrangements were just how she dreamed they would be.
Yvette and Claire of Ethix Makeup Beauty and Styling once again did a professional job – the girls looked gorgeous.
It was a pleasure to work with Antonio of Gala Video and DJ Allan from Pro Discos.
And to those amazing hosts and staff of Sylvan Glen, you did a magnificent job. It was a pleasure working with you all again.
Most importantly thank you C&J, for sharing yourselves and your day with me, it was SO much fun! xx DW
It was a magical day, beautiful sunshine topped with amazing company. Who could have asked for a better day!
Stephanie is a beautiful caring person always helping others. She always has a smile on her face. Joshua, the dashing gentleman with a big heart. They met a few years ago at Gallipoli on Anzac Day and then lived in London for two years before moving to Sydney.
The Briars was the ideal venue for their wedding and they were so delighted to have their close family and friends (some travelled many thousand of miles) to share this special occasion with them.
Louise Robinson conducted their ceremony on the lawns near the lake of this gorgeous property. Josh looking at his beautiful wife-to-be with love and respect and Stephanie just couldn’t wipe the smile off her face. It is a wonderful privilege to photograph and witness this special moment in their lives. It made my heart sing.
After family and friends congratulated the happy couple, I had the privilege of photographing Stephanie and Josh with their bridal party while their guests enjoyed drinks in the inn followed by canapés on the lawn.
The ceremony and reception was beautifully styled by the amazing talented Emily Cooper for their floral arrangements. http://www.emilycooperfloraldecorator.com.au
The cake was made by Lisa Williams.
Once again the staff at Briars did a magnificent job. It was a pleasure working with you all again.
The speeches were heart felt and of course hilarious. In all, it was an amazing wedding day full of fun and laughter.
Thank you Stephanie and Josh for trusting me to capture this memorable day on your behalf. I wish you all the very best for the future. Keep in touch.
