This wedding had me at hello, I mean at the location- Kangaroo Valley is one of the most stunning regions in Australia and my gosh what a beautiful backdrop it made for the wedding of Kim and Glenn. Elegant, vintage and love!
Kim and Glenn held their beautiful wedding celebration at Willabrook Retreat in Kangaroo Valley. The property has two luxurious cottages and is in the heart of the Upper River of the Valley in which the Kangaroo River runs through. It was the first time I had photographed at this venue and it was such a delight driving along the road, seeing such beauty. When entering into Willabrook Retreat you are greeted by a beautiful treelined driveway and breathtaking views of the valley.
The weather was absolutely gorgeous, beautiful blue skies, breathtaking views of the valley were to die for.
I love Kim’s wedding gown and hairpiece. Hair and Make up was beautifully done by Yvette from Ethix Makeup Beauty & Styling.
If you are looking for a professional photographer to coverage your intimate wedding and only require 3 to 4 hours (like Kim and Glenn did), get in touch soon as I would love to capture your special day.
Kate and Eddie’s wedding was just amazing. It was a hot glorious sunny day where their wedding was set in the beautiful Southern Highland Wines vineyard in the Southern Highlands. And the sunset was just amazing, you will see what I mean with the images below. To top it of, I had the pleasure of getting to know this fun loving kind humble couple who immensely love each other. The bridal party were funny and relaxed. It was a day to remember forever. I love all the images we created together and hope you do too. Thank you for inviting me into your magical world for the day, I loved every second of it!
Kate and Eddie’s wedding was held at the Southern Highland Wines.
Recently I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Jemma and Simon’s wedding at the Southern Highland Wines. It was such a wonderful glorious hot day, the sky were blue and the ceremonial area was decorated with beautiful smelling lavender, purple balloons, vintage decorations and wine barrels all set at one beautiful vineyard in the Southern Highlands.
Jemma contacted me about photographing her wedding as her fiancé’s best friend had recommended me. You see, four years ago I had photographed John and Helen’s wedding at the Briars Country Lodge.
Jem & Sy are such a beautiful couple. It was touching to see the love and emotion during the ceremonial vows. They love and care for each other dearly and to see the expressions of their parents face – they were so proud of their children and delighted that today had come.
In all, their wedding day was a spectacular fun filled event, lots of laughter, funny speeches and crazy dancing and I was just delighted and honoured to be their wedding photographer.
Thanks so much for having me as a part of your day and I wish you all the very best for the future and look forward to designing your beautiful wedding album which will retell the story of your wedding day xx Di

I was very excited about photographing Rebecca and Ilker’s wedding. I met them last year and subsequently did an e’session photo shoot at their proposed wedding venue at Solar Springs Weddings in Bundanoon of the Southern Highlands.
They are such lovely people: friendly, warm, caring.
When I woke up on their wedding day, it was hot. I mean extremely hot. It was already 30 degrees, expecting to reach 38 degrees later in the day.
Upon arrival to the beautiful gardens of Solar Springs Health Retreat www.solarsprings.com.au, I was in awe of how beautiful the ceremony was set up. Michael and Kate from Absolutely Flowers did a magnificent job, ensuring with this intense heat the flowers look fresh and luscious for Rebecca and Ilker’s wedding ceremony.
As I arrived early I saw Ilker busily ensuring that everything was organised and running smoothly. I love organised people!
It was a beautiful wedding. Rebecca, a caring gorgeous bride and Ilker, a gentleman the devoted husband to be. Together one loving couple who are loved by all who were present for their wedding day.
There were many highlights of my day with Rebecca and Ilker. Seeing kangaroos on the lawn, joining in the laughs with the bridal party, trying to keep cool as much as possible, watching belly dancing but most importantly it was those wonderful endearing moments I captured of their loving relationship.
Thank you for letting me be part of your special day.
PS I will upload some reception photos very soon.
