The latest craze to celebrate your first birthday is to have a cake smash photo session. Miss Indi gave me all. Despite being a bit hesitant at first, which is natural, after some encouragement by her mum and aunty, she gave us many beautiful smiles and laughter after she realised that you can squash, poke and pat her specially made birthday cake and of course eat it. After that, she was not fazed of making a mess. She had so much fun and it was delight watching her enjoying herself. Thanks to her parents for letting me capture these cute fun moments which they will cherish forever. A big thanks goes to Katie Ingmire for baking the beautiful cake. x Di
I was very fortunate to photograph an event at Wombat Hollow situated in Kangaloon in the Southern Highlands to mark Edith’s 90th birthday celebrations.
She is one remarkable highly regarded lady, loved and respected by all.
Even though I have known her very briefly via photographing previous social events for her family (The Yabsleys), she is genuine caring kind lady.
Many guests told me how remarkable and independent she is, caring and loving to all. How this family (and there are many generations and family members connected to Edith) – are together because of her. Her values, morals are respected by all.
This day was for Edith and from the below photographs you can tell that everyone had an amazingly fun day celebrating this remarkable lady’s achievements in her life. And I had a fantastic time capturing all special moments as they unfolded.
Thank you to Susie and Michael Yabsley and their children Alex and Edward and Pam and Cliff and their sons and of course Edith for welcoming me again to capture another family moment in their lives.
